Hi, i hope you’re going to enjoy this post from My Health And Fitness Today. After watching the recent run of Strictly Come Dancing, what struck me was the level of weight loss amongst the celebrities, so her goes;

People still see Ballroom dancing as the exercise for the rich or the old.  This thinking cannot be further from the truth.  Ballroom dancing has gained wide popularity in the recent years and is a one of the best ab workouts you can find.

There is a some truth to the fact that you must have a certain income comfort level to embark on Ballroom dancing.You have to, after all, pay for the dance class and learn it under a qualified dance instructor before you have the confidence to sashay and glide across the dance floor.  However, it is possible to dance and at the same time not having to spend too much money on it.

You can consider attending dance class in a neighbourhood dance school, and not in those classy dance studios in town. Neighbourhood dance schools will certainly charge a lot less for the school fees.  You can focus on getting the basics right by attending the beginner course. Thereafter, you need to practice real hard at home by watching a dance program or from DVD that can be obtained for free from the library.You have the options to move on to the more difficult level.You can start dancing socially as long as you get the basics right. And you will get better and better as you practice.

So which Ballroom dance step to start? There are many to choose from, the  Tango to Quickstep. I would advise you start with the faster pace dance. This is because the fast pace dances tends to hide a dancers flaws easier  compared to the elegant ones such as the Rhumba. Just one tiny mistake and the audience will see it. Anyone can dance Ballroom. All you need is the passion for music and dance and you are good to go. Want to get abs quick – through dance. Learn more about health at How to get abs quick.
