Believe it or not, posture and a strong back are actually important parts of learning how to get a flat stomach.
You may be scratching your head, but slouching and over-arching your back, which are two of the main issues of poor posture, cause your stomach to slump and push forward.
Even a nice tummy will pooch out if you’re not standing properly. You should therefore be aware of your posture throughout the day.

Incorporate Cardiovascular Exercise Into Your Life

A flabby stomach may also just be hiding your six pack. By adding a good cardio workout to your strength training can really help burn off that fat.
You should do cardio after your ab routine, or complete it on the in between days when you are resting your core.
Running, jogging, power walking, swimming, and bicycling are all great cardio workouts that you can easily implement into your day.
