With the pressure to look fit today in America, everyone wants to know how to get a six pack. Getting a six pack takes a combination of things to happen. You need to have an intense ab routine combined with great cardio and diet.
These days there are so many get ripped quick products on tv that don’t work. After trying many of the tv ab products I found myself wondering why anyone would buy them. Any of these ab rollers, ab cradles, ab shockers, perfect sit ups, and ab balls don’t work.
I’m about to go over tips in this article on how to get a six pack that hopefully will give your abs the ingredients to look better than ever.
First off you should be working out your abs every day to achieve your goals. Usually I tell people to work out a muscle no more than twice a week but the core is so large and is the most important muscle (for looks and for overall strength) that every day it can be worked. The workouts you should be doing must include the obliques and the lower back if you are going for strength and you can exclude the back if you just want to look good but I don’t recommend it.
To burn a significant amount of the fat off your belly, one hour of cardio per day is required as well as an intense core workout. Many people sit and work the core hard and think they know how to get a six pack but they neglect the cardio. This is just as important if not more as the core training.
For those of us who don’t naturally have a six pack, diet is the most important aspect. Some people can have six packs if they eat cheeseburgers for every meal. The cheeseburger diet is the sure way to never getting a six pack if you don’t have those great genetics.
You could spend a lot of time learning the science of nutrition but it isn’t truly necessary. By implementing the basics of nutrition we learn in elementary school we can see results that can be equivalent to results seen by some of the advanced nutrition plans.
Most people have a pretty good idea of what is considered “healthy”. You should look into learning the basics of nutrition if you think fries are good for you
teach yourself the basics of nutrition.
Some tips I can give you on a six pack diet is to steer clear of sweets, cheese, and white bread. Also when you are hungry for a snack you should have some kind of fresh fruit instead of chips or some cheese snack.
